House service

As a proud owner of a comfortable holiday-house you probably are looking forward to your next stay to enjoy your vacation.
Not only to enjoy but also to be as certain finding your house in good conditions since you left it. Wouldn’t it be nice for your tranquility of mind to know someone checks your property from time to time, especially during longer periods of absence. We do think so!

Holiday Houses takes care of your property while you can’t be there. We visit and control your second house as often as agreed and take care of intervention when needed. One control visit will measure 30 minutes.

Standard services:

Every time we visit your house we take care of :

• Visual control, inside and outdoor, on defects, leakages, calamity,…
• Visual control on damage due to storm, lightning, vandalism, burglary or attempt to. When we notice burglary or attempt to, we contact the police and inform you.
• We ventilate the house to avoid or limit mildew by condensation. We flush out the toilets and sinks to keep out nasty smells
• We control the consumption of electricity, water, gas to become aware of possible losses. This service avoids unexpected and sometimes very expensive charges for energy. We also write down the kilometers of your car(s).
• We check the safety-fuses and contact-breakers in order to localize defects. We also check radiators and faucets on possible leakages.
• We empty the letterbox, remove the redundant leaflets en send the official mail to your address. This keeps you informed about official payments to be done and avoids your letterbox to bulge out as proof of your absence.
• We control the state of the garden and check the fixing of the swimming pool-cover.
• We check the agenda the handymen have to sign..
• We control the functioning of the filtration of the swimming pool and adjust the time switch when needed.

How we work:

Together we agree on the number of visits wanted, this can change every month in function of the occupation of your house. The yearly price is based upon this number of visits. Our agreements are done for periods of 6 months minimum. Each visit we fill in a complete checklist on which we make all our remarks, after each visit you will receive our report and digital pictures. If we detect damage and are able to repair or fix it in less than 2 hours we will proceed directly to prevent further damage and to save transport (unless otherwise agreed) For interventions of greater importance we need your approval before fixing it ourselves or board it out to professionals.

Tariffs:

Standard service: 12 visits/year € 25,- per visit.
Standard service: 24 visits/year € 20,- per visit.
Standard service: 48 visits/year € 15,- per visit.

If you have several houses in the region the number of visits can be divided over them.

Remuneration:

All work which is not included in our standard services, such as fixing damages by ourselves, coordination, etc is remunerated at € 25/hour. Materials are calculated at cost-price consumer.

Payment:

Payments to be done before every 6 visits. When we do not receive the payment on time, the next foreseen visits will not be done en every responsibility is declined. All prices are excluded from 16% IVA.

Key holding

Besides control and inspection of the houses we also do the renting of the holiday homes. We charge our commission on the renter of the holiday homes so it will cost you nothing by letting at our company. No costs only benefits. See for holiday letting our page “Home owners”. Do you rather do the lettings yourself but are you looking for some-one for the keys holding? Holiday Houses can do the job!

We will take care for handing over the keys to the renters of your house here in the environment. The keys can be collected and returned at our office at Calpe on an agreed time. Besides a warm welcome we give the renters a route description to the house.

Tariffs:

Key holding  € 30,- per renting period.

Payment:

Payments to be done before every 6 key holdings. When we do not receive the payment on time, the next foreseen visits will not be done en every responsibility is declined. All prices are excluded from 16% IVA.

Pool service

- The clarity of the water is influenced by rain, wind and sunshine.
- Swimmers introduce foreign particles such as lotions and oils and sweat into the pool.
- Dead skin cells, hair, insects, dust and anything else that might fall into the pool can block up the filter.
- The presence of pool algae promotes bacteria growth, this can create a real health risk!

For € 65,-  a month (based on an 8 x 4m pool) we will:

• - Check your pool 1 time a week, when necessary in summer 2 times a week
• - Check pool level and fill up as required
• - Vacuum and brush the pool bottom and sides
• - Manage the filtration system by regularly backwashing and emptying filter baskets
• - Supply all chemicals for your pool to maintain the correct water balance
• - Keep you informed about the condition of your pool as necessary

To help you organize your arrangements as far as possible, each visit we come on the same day. Each customer is issued with their own unique contract reference number. Customer addresses cannot be linked to key reference numbers, We keep records each week of chemicals applied, water condition etc. These records are available for your inspection at any time upon request. We do not need to know in advance when your property will be occupied – your pool will be ready any time.

Weekly visit  € 65,- per month

Payment:

Payments to be done before every 6 pool cleanings. When we do not receive the payment on time, the next foreseen visits will not be done en every responsibility is declined. All prices are excluded from 16% IVA.

Airport service

Our Airport service is only available for clients booking one of the property rentals on this website.

Our car from Holiday Houses is always on time at the Airport. Delay? No problem, our driver is whaiting until you arrive. Our English speaking driver brings you quick  and safe to your holiday home. He has the keys with him so you don't lose time and you can start your holiday directly.

- Pick up / Deliver from airport Alicante to Calpe € 65,- for 2 persons.
- Each extra person costs € 10,- per person more.
- Pick up / Deliver from airport Valencia to Calpe € 130,- for 2 persons.
- Each extra person costs € 10,- per person more.
- All prices are excluded from 16% IVA.

Cleaning service

Your guests are gone and the house needs a final cleaning before the next guests arrive? No problem!

Holiday Houses offers also a Cleaning service.

What does the cleaning service contains?

- Cleaning and store pans, tableware, cutlery etc.

- Put back clean sheets, blankets and pillows on the beds.

- Tidy up the house and replace everything on its original place (beds, sofa etc)

- Taking care that you won�t see or smell anything of pets when you gave permission to bring one into the house.

- Report all damages, breaks or defects.

- Clear the outside table and chairs, clean and store the barbecue.

- Empty all garbage cans and baskets.

- Dust, vacuum clean and mopping the floors, cleaning the kitchen and bathrooms.

- Washing, iron and return bed linen .

- In short, return everything in its original state.

All prices are excluded from 16% IVA.
Price for bigger accommodations in consult.

Maintenance service around the house

All work such as for example painting or fixing damages is remunerated at € 25/hour.
Materials are calculated at cost-price consumer.
